Child and Teen Therapy
"My child seems overwhelmed by big emotions, but I don't know how to help."

Children and teens often communicate their struggles through behavior, emotions, relationships, and changes in how they engage with the world. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space where young people can learn to understand their emotions, develop coping skills, build confidence, and feel more connected to themselves and others.
I enjoy helping children and teens navigate anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity development, friendships, family changes, trauma, and other challenges that come with growing up.

With younger clients, I use a developmentally appropriate approach that may include play, creativity, storytelling, mindfulness, and skills-based activities. I believe children and teens heal through relationships, so building trust and creating a space where they feel seen and understood is central to my work.
“Ashley was an influential pillar for the success of our healing journey as a family that was impacted by domestic violence. Forever grateful God lead us to her.”
"Ashley provides a non judgmental, comforting, and safe space to talk about anything and everything. In our time together she has provided the perfect blend of listening, validating, and also challenging me to look deeper within myself which has led to a greater sense self identity, peace and well-being"
Ashley has created an environment that has always made me feel safe, heard, valued, and respected. She continues to help me process my many sources of trauma by providing coping tools, different types of breath work, as well as talking through what I’m feeling."
